Well, after starting this little solo thing just over five years ago, I’ve finally released an album of material, a body of work. It’s an immense relief.
The only ambition I’ve had for this is to just complete it, and I’ve done that so everything else that happens now is just an added bonus. I’ve worked hard with some very amazing and talented producers on the album. The whole process has been really intense, emotional and life changing and I’m so proud of it regardless of whether it does well or not…that really doesn’t matter at the end of the day.
I’d like to thank Elston, Luke, Yama, Max, Michael and Nick for writing tracks with me.
I’d like to thank Bry, Elston, Rich, Lee and Ash for making it become an album.
I’d like to thank Pete for his commitment and hard work and everyone at Ivy League; Alicia, Marihuzka, Marty, Chris, Andy C and Andy K. They have been a really great label to be apart of, so supportive and positive.
Thank you to the many people who have supported the project, and sent kind words, it really means a lot.
Thanks to my incredible Mum…I really couldn’t have done it without her.
I hope it makes some of you happy. Music literally saved me back in August 2006, and I don’t know where I would be without it. I think my Dad would be really proud, he was even proud of everything Kiosk did haha. I miss him so much, I would trade all this to have him back, but everything is what it is.
And this ends the most earnest blog post I will ever write. Tonight I am gonna go to Spice Temple and eat so much and drink many many drinks.
Have a great weekend
